The Day a 14 Year Friendship Turned into a Lifelong Marriage

On July 31st, 2021 The Ruby Manor experienced the union that turned Kristina and Adams 6 years of dating and 14 year long friendship into a lifelong marriage. It was a full day at the Manor as we hosted the pre and post ceremony events. It was an honour to host and shoot the coming together of Kristina and Adams' Canadian and Greek families. The Ruby Manor was transformed into an intimate chic, sophisticated, black and white dream.  

Kristina's white gown hung in our London Suite as she got ready to marry her best friend. In the same room, her mother helped her get dressed and she shared the first look with her father. Meanwhile, in our Malibu room, Adam had his mother, father and best man suit him up for the women of his dreams. 

Kristina’s first moments in her gown was celebrated with her family and a band of traditional Greek drummers. Then joined with Adam, the happy couple shared their first look in our flawlessly trimmed gardens. A picture perfect moment, the garden's greens accentuated Kristina’s dress and Adam’s tux perfectly. Following this, the drummers excitedly escorted the families to the ceremony. 

Back at the Manor, our Milan room was transformed into a chic reception area where the union of both families enjoyed an intimate dinner and celebratory drinks following the ceremony. The room was filled with happy tears, speeches, laughs and love. The party continued following the reception in our Paris room. It was transformed into a dancing hall where the families and friends enjoyed traditional belly dancing, their own dance party, and many more precious moments. 

There’s nothing as magical as the coming together of the families. When asked, Kristina's favourite part of her day was, she joyfully said "Watching both of our beautiful, blended families sit together in a room for the first time ever". We are honoured to have captured those moments and provided the perfect venue for their special day.
