Jo will use her 10+ years of experience as a professional retoucher to guide you step by step through an efficient editing workflow, while sharing tips and tricks to help you get the most out of these powerful post production programs. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a solid foundation in Lightroom and Photoshop and be ready to take your photography editing skills to the next level.

No prior experience with Lightroom or Photoshop is required, but please bring a laptop with both programs installed (you can download free trial versions from Adobe's website). Note that this workshop will focus on the desktop versions of Lightroom (Lightroom CC) and Photoshop, not the mobile apps.

The Princess Meet & Greet Day at the Manor is our upcoming enchanting event that will transport your little ones into the magical world of fairytales! The event will take place on Sunday, June 4th, from 10AM to 12PM at our studio, where children can meet, mingle, and take photos with their favourite princesses. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for children to interact with their favourite fairy-tale characters, and will be an experience that they will never forget.

The event will feature four of the most beloved princesses: Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, and Elsa. Each ticket includes one adult and one child, along with a crown for each child to wear during the experience. This will make them feel like royalty as they step into the world of fantasy.

During the 30-minute experience, children will have the opportunity to meet their favorite princesses, take photos with them, and even chat with them. The princesses will be happy to answer any questions the children might have and share their favorite stories.

In addition, four professional photos are included in the experience with any princesses of their choice. We encourage children to dress up as their favourite princess for the event to make the experience even more magical. We can't wait to see all of the beautiful and creative costumes that the children will wear to the Princess Day at the Manor.

Our studio is excited to announce our upcoming Mother's Day Spring Mini Photoshoot Sessions, which will be taking place in our beautifully decorated Spring Set-up in the Paris Studio. These special sessions will be captured by Rose Gold Productions, who are known for their stunning and high-quality family portraits.

During your 15-minute photoshoot booking, we will capture the special bond between mothers and their loved ones. Whether it's a mother and her children or a grandmother and her grandchildren, these mini sessions will provide the perfect opportunity to capture precious memories that will be treasured for years to come.

With each session, you will receive 5 final digital images that have been carefully curated and edited. Each session is limited to six attendees per family.

These photoshoot are extra special because 50% of all proceeds from each booking will be donated to the Life With A Baby Foundation. This organization focuses on making maternal mental health a national priority and expanding the knowledge and treatments available to reduce the incidence of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through early prevention and support. Your booking will directly help a mother or family get the professional support and help they need. Life With A Baby’s program provides help to mothers where it isn’t readily available or accessible, it helps grow stronger families and communities, and most importantly, it helps to bring awareness to and reduce the stigma around maternal mental health. These sessions will help new and expecting mothers in out community so that they don’t suffer in silence.

On Sunday April 23rd, The Ruby Manor is hosting its very first Content Day for Wedding Photographers!

This content day will provide photographers an opportunity to come and photograph high quality, luxury wedding set-ups that will be perfect for building portfolios, marketing, and business growth.

There will be FOUR completely unique wedding sets in each of our studios, allowing photographers to capture a collection of photos with variety and interest. Each of our four luxury wedding sets will be styled with work done by some of the industry’s leading professionals, and feature industry models for you to work with.

Capturing content from four weddings in one day has never been easier! With a maximum of eight photographers attending at a time within our 5000+ square foot venue, you can rest assured that you will have the time and space needed to explore new and different ways to capture the wedding scenes, and direct the models however you wish. We look forward to creating with you!

This extensive and beginner friendly workshop is designed to take your maternity studio photography to new creative heights. During this three hour workshop, you will learn the core planning principles for your client’s dream maternity shoot, and how to bring editorial sets to life with lighting, props, and styling.

You will get to experience a live demonstration to see how Farida styles, poses, and directs her model in front of the camera to achieve the editorial style she specializes in. You will learn all about array techniques that will help you expand your skill sets with in-studio maternity sessions.
