There’s nothing better than reminiscing over old family photos. Capturing a family’s portraits is a special way to memorialize a fleeting moment in time. This photography workshop is designed to equip aspiring family photographers with essential skills and knowledge to capture stunning moments for families.

During the workshop, participants will delve into various aspects of family photography, starting with understanding the ideal atmosphere and setting needed to create memorable family portraits. Sam Blay, a seasoned family photographer, will share her expertise on creating a comfortable and engaging environment that brings out the best in each family member.

To bring your family photoshoots to life, understanding the gear, lighting, and props needed is essential. Sam will walk attendees through the essential equipment required for successful family photography sessions, including camera gear, lenses, lighting equipment, and props that can add creativity and personality to the images and pricing your services effectively.

After the informative session, attendees will have a unique hands-on experience working with a real live family. Sam will demonstrate her posing and directing techniques, allowing participants to observe and learn from her expertise. Furthermore, this interactive workshop will provide attendees with an opportunity to practice their skills by capturing their own images of the family under Sam's guidance.
