Be sure to bookmark this blog post so that you can reference it right before your maternity photoshoot, and pack everything you need the night before, so that you can simply arrive and relax knowing you’ve come prepared.

1

Ultrasound photos

Including ultrasound photos at your maternity photoshoot is a must, but often something parents forget to bring to their maternity photoshoot. There are so many unique ways they can be incorporated into your photoshoot that they’re more than worth bringing along.

2

Little shoes or clothes for your

baby

As soon as you find out you’re having a baby, it’s so hard to resist buying adorable little clothes! Bringing along some baby shoes, shirts, or onesies are a lovely touch to your photoshoot. It’ll really make it feel like a baby is on the way! We also absolutely love when baby clothes are personalized to your family, with either your family name, the baby’s due date, or a memorable phrase that’s important to your family. This will not only create photos that your entire family will love seeing, it will also be such a special memento when your little one grows up and can appreciate it for themselves.

3

A sign with your baby’s due date

Including your baby’s due date is a lovely touch in your maternity photos. The personalization will be so unique when you look back on your maternity photos, and will be even more special if you have more children down the line! A word of advice is to keep the due date general - we recommend including only the month of the baby’s due date, to ensure that your photos will have an accurate date on them. Is your baby’s due right at the beginning or end of the month? Have a bit of fun in your photos, and include both months on a sign or board! For example, a simple sign that says “June or July, when will you arrive?” is an adorable touch to add in a few photos.
