Our Top 3 Tips for the Best Branding Photos

Today, branding is one of the most important tools to make sure we convey the message we want to our audience. As we see many amazing self-starters opening new businesses, getting promotions in their industry, starting a new career, or simply elevating their current image, we are here to make sure your branding photos are a reflection of your highest potential!

Our in-house photographer, Rose Gold Productions, has had the pleasure of capturing branding photoshoots for business owners, business professionals and entrepreneurs in our lovely community. The 4 studios at The Ruby Manor provide so much versatility and opportunity for creativity during branding photoshoots! With her experience and expertise, we are sharing with you some of our best practices to achieve professional and unique branding photos that are sure to stand out against the crowd.

Here are our top 3 tips to getting the best photos during your branding shoot!

Tip #1

Wear something that makes you feel confident, powerful, and most like you. Whether that be a suit or skirt, make sure you feel your best.

Tip #2

Take more than just the typical set of headshots. Be sure to get a variety of photos at your shoot! We recommend bringing props that relate to your profession to your session, like a laptop, notebook, or your company’s products.

Tip #3

Make sure to work with a photographer you trust. Your photographer will guide you through all the poses during your shoot, but never be afraid to modify something to make it feel more natural to you. Feeling comfortable and confident during your shoot will shine through your photos!

While branding photoshoots can be a bit stressful, try to keep a positive mindset going in! Finding inspiration photos for how you’d like your photos to turn out can help take away some uncertainty out of your mind, and help you feel more confident. Bringing a playlist of your favourite songs to the photoshoot is also a great way to help you loosen up before the camera goes up!

Happy branding!
